Appointments at Japanese universities

Marie Lall has been engaging with universities in Japan since 2008. Her first appointment as visiting professor was in 2013 at Keio University in Tokyo.

 

  • 12/21-05 2022 Visiting Professor in the Faculty of Global and Regional Studies, Toyo  University, Tokyo. Lectures (for the MA and BA programmes) on rural development in India, Pakistan and Myanmar 

  • 09-12 2014 Visiting Professor Faculty of Law, Keio University, Tokyo. Lectures on contemporary issues, government and politics in India, Pakistan and Myanmar.

  • 04-07 2013 Visiting Professor Faculty of Law, Keio University, Tokyo. Lectures on contemporary issues, government and politics in India, Pakistan and Myanmar.

  • Delivered the first CeSDeS Open Seminar  with Professor Ikuko Okamoto on: How the coup in Myanmar has disrupted its progress of meeting the SDGs, May 2022
